Exciting new course running this year, thanks to funding from the Southern Community Engagement Forum – Become a Community Energy Ambassador!

This is to teach residents and representatives from community organisations about all things to do with energy, including how much things cost, myths and facts around saving energy, understanding bills, how to switch energy supplier, renewable energy, local schemes available to help vulnerable households, and how to support other people to be warm and well at home.

The training is free and it will be a fun, interactive and practical course. It will run on Tuesday mornings (9.30am – 1pm) across 5 weeks at the following locations

  • Eggborough Methodist Chapel, starting from 10th September
  • Hambleton Village Hall, starting from 19th November

We would love to have representatives from as many villages as possible in the Southern CEF area.
