NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (DAM LANE, THORPE WILLOUGHBY) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour on Dam Lane, Thorpe Willoughby from the northern terminal point of the existing 30 mph speed limit, north for 438 metres.
Copies of the draft Orders, together with maps showing the roads affected and statements of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at the following libraries during normal office hours from 01/02/2018 to 23/02/2018 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices:-
Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 4EQ; Sherburn and Villages Community Library, Finkle Hill, Sherburn-in-Elmet LS25 6EA; and Tadcaster Community Library, Station Road, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire LS24 9JG.
If you wish to object to the proposed Orders, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to “Area 7 Selby Highways Office, Canal Road, Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 0AG” or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the website link above by 23/02/2018.
