Hello, my name is Helen Knisis and I work in the communications team at North Yorkshire County Council.

You may have seen news and information about our budget consultation in the press and on social media over recent weeks. We have also been out and about talking to people about our savings challenge and getting their views on what matters to them before we agree our budget for 2019/20. We’re keen to hear from as many people as possible to find out how they feel we should prioritise our spending and make additional savings.

If you haven’t already taken part I’d be grateful if you could complete the survey online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/budget-consultation-2019-2020. A PDF of the background document is included at the bottom of this notice.

The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 21st January to make sure your views are considered by the council’s executive when they meet on the 29th of January. Responses received after this date will still be included and shared with full council when it meets on Wednesday 20th February.
