The Highways section of North Yorkshire County Council is looking to improve overall accessibility to their services 24 hours a day as well as increasing the use of the self-service functions available to Parish Councils and members of the public on their website.

Residents can use the ‘Report It Online’ part of their website for highways matters such as:
• potholes,
• tree maintenance,
• road marking requests,
• footpath maintenance
• flooding.

If you make a report, you can use your email to log back in at a later date and track the status of your report. Please use the following link to access the NYCC website.

Use of the online reporting facility will also allow NYCC’s Highways Communications Officer to focus on improving the wider communications and services provided.
Of course, It is appreciated that not all people have internet access and NYCC want to reassure residents that any highway related reports received into their area office will be processed.
