For 88 houses on old pig station Field lane
This application is for an amendment to current planning permission for 70 houses already granted on appeal. SDC planning committee rejected the original application but the developers appealed and it was passed.

The site is within the parish of Hambleton although it’s postcode is Thorpe Willoughby. This means that Hambleton PC will get the CIL monies and the yearly precept for any housing built. Thorpe
Willoughby and all its facilities on the other hand will be used by the new residents.
Whilst this may be good for the shops etc. in the village to become more viable businesses it will adversely affect the amenities of the area. 88 houses may have as many as 170 cars and may entail
the school having to support another 22 primary school children.

The extra vehicles on Field lane and Fox lane will be very heavy especially at peak times.
The only planning objection would be loss of amenities for Thorpe Willoughby. It is past the stage where we can stop development on this site.
