I would like as many people as possible to tell me their views on whether they think police officers on North Yorkshire’s streets should routinely carry Tasers.
The survey is open now at www.telljulia.com and runs until Sunday 29 September.
The decision on the deployment of Taser is ultimately down to the Chief Constable but, ahead of that being made, I want to know whether people feel greater investment in the devices is the right thing to do, and if communities would feel safer.
Using the links below, I’d be extremely grateful if you could promote the survey when you are engaging with your communities and if you use social media, look out for #TaserSurvey

Kind regards
Julia Mulligan
North Yorkshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner
